Central Saanich council has voted to reconsider the development of a nearly 200-unit housing complex geared towards veterans, seniors and health-care workers.

The project, pitched by developer Aryze, would see about 40 per cent of the units earmarked for affordable housing. A large turn out of people showed up to Monday night’s council meeting, beyond the room’s capacity of 80 occupants.
