The Sparks front office believes they added another versatile player to their roster when they signed former WNBA Champion Azurá Stevens on Friday.

LOS ANGELES — The Sparks have signed free agent forward Azurá Stevens, a 2021 WNBA Champion, who most recently played for the Chicago Sky, the team announced Friday.

During her career, she has averaged 9.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 blocks per game. “Z is a rising star in our league and a tremendous teammate,” added Sparks head coach Curt Miller. “At 6-foot-6, she has outstanding versatility to play effectively on the inside and on the perimeter. She is a fantastic addition to the Sparks.”The Sparks also signed Stephanie Talbot on Feb. 1, which was the first day free agents could officially sign with teams across the league.
