The Calgary Flames’ playoff dream didn’t die Tuesday night.
The Flames had shot themselves in the foot. In the end, they did it one too many times.
But so was Tuesday, and it was against a team that has inexplicably caused the Flames headaches in their three meetings this season, all Chicago wins. It’s not like the Blackhawks created a tonne of chances or kept the pressure up or did anything especially flashy on Tuesday.
