“It’s one day at a time for us and it’s pretty easy to get ahead of ourselves, but for us the focus is day-in and day-out, and putting in the work,” Tkachuk said. “We know there’s room to make up, but we’re not looking at the playoff picture and those situations. To do that, the Senators need to keep winning and having the kind of effort they showed for 65 minutes against the Isles and in the last five minutes of the miraculous comeback from a two-goal deficit to get the win against the Flames.Article content
