The escape goat was a stray found in Richmond Tuesday and then transferred to the SPCA’s Surrey barn in Cloverdale yesterday. But today, the goat made a daring break for freedom.Start your day with a roundup of B.C.-focused news and opinion delivered straight to your inbox at 7 a.m., Monday to Friday.By clicking on the sign up button you consent to receive the above newsletter from Postmedia Network Inc.
Some of the barn staff chased after the goat, which was spotted going into a neighbour’s field and disappeared into the brush. They went door-to-door speaking with neighbours but have not yet found the goat, who they’ve renamed Houdini because of his disappearing antics.Anyone who spots it is asked to contact the SPCA at 604-365-9423.
