That was the case for New Glasgow’s Landon Sim who took part in the St. Louis Blues rookie camp in mid-July. “He’s a hard-working guy with good hands and skill. He had a good second half to the season last year, and we’re looking forward to him having a bigger role with London next year.” Of course, Sim's not unfamiliar with the NHL as his dad Jon had a 12-season career that included winning the Stanley Cup with Dallas in 1999.A forward, Sim plans to work on strength, speed and skating.He said the Blues want him to continue to hit the gym and follow the program they gave him, just like all the other rookies.“I want to win a championship here.”“I see myself as a guy who can score consistently, put up some numbers and play hard.
