As is its practice, the Crown offered no explanation for the withdrawal. The offences are alleged to have occurred between October 2019 and October 2020.

George James Timbury, 57, is charged with three counts of breaching court orders and single counts of failing to stop at the scene of an accident, dangerous driving, evading police, impaired driving, refusing a breathalyzer demand, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.According to police, Timbury was observed making a dangerous turn on King Street during which he struck another vehicle but failed to stop.
