Nova Scotia Health is reporting five COVID-related deaths in the province in its latest weekly update. SALTWIRE NETWORKFive more Nova Scotians died from COVID-19 in the past week.

The total number of people now in hospital is 38, down from 50 a week earlier. Eight of those patients are in ICU. The median age of those hospitalized for coronavirus is 84. According to the health authority, 29 per cent of those now in hospital did not receive any COVID-19 vaccines, while 37 per cent had three doses and 21 per cent had four shots.
