Rocky View County resident Ryan Wade Nolan\u0027s sentencing for shooting a co\u002Dworker has been delayed as he is now disputing some agreed facts.
“I went over that with him in the ante room several times and he’s not resiling from that comment,” Hepner said.
“Mr. Nolan further stated, ‘The prosecutor said that I said to Jason, you are not so tough now and I’m going to kill you’ … but what I said was, ‘Why do you always have to be the tough guy, Jason, you could have got killed,'” Robertson said, adding Crown lawyer Lori Chambers never said a death threat was made.
According to the court exhibit, Hare said Nolan retreated into the home and returned armed with a .22-caliber rifle. “After the victim fell to the ground the accused approached him saying words to the effect of, ‘you’re not so tough now,’ before retreating back inside his residence.”
