Officers attended to check on the person’s well-being and determined the truck had been reported stolen from Duncan.
A 41-year-old man was arrested on drug charges and for possession of stolen property early Thursday when West Shore RCMP responded to a report that someone was sleeping in a Toyota truck parked on Glenairlie Drive in View Royal.
A search of the man and the vehicle uncovered a large quantity of drugs, including about 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 24 grams of fentanyl and four grams of crack cocaine. The man was arrested for possession of stolen property over $5,000 in relation to the truck and for possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking.
