KLANG: The announcement by Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob that the whole of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya will be placed under the conditional movement control order (MCO) has come as a surprise to the Selangor state government.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said in a statement on Monday that only Klang, Gombak, Hulu Langat and parts of Petaling had indicated a worrisome number of cases.
"Up to date, the state government, had on consensus, agreed there are specific recommendations that can be conveyed to the National Security Council for consideration," said Amirudin. "In view of this, the state government will send feedback to the NSC immediately for consideration," said Amirudin.
