A section of the Malahat near Goldstream Provincial Park will be single-lane alternating traffic overnight for geotechnical work.

Over night on Nov. 17, the Malahat through Goldstream Park will be down to single-alternating traffic for crews to do work.

A section of the Malahat Highway near Goldstream Provincial Park will go down to single-lane alternating traffic overnight for geotechnical work. Single-lane traffic will be in effect from 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 until 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, according to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.

The lane closures will allow crews to measure the depth of the bedrock for planning purposes. The work is unrelated to thethat led to damaging floods across the province, the ministry confirmed to CHEK News.
