The Calgary Police Service is asking for help from the public as the search continues for a 12-year-old boy who didn't return home on Halloween night.

According to police, Amir Elsawalhi was last seen at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday in the southeast neighbourhood of Applewood when he left his home to go out trick-or-treating.Amir is described as:He was last seen wearing a blue or red hoodie and matching track pants.Anyone who spots the boy is asked to contact police at 403-266-1234.
