SAINT JOHN, N.B. — After a nearly seven-month-long investigation, Saint John police have arrested and charged a 33-year-old man after he allegedly broke into a restaurant in the city and stole items in fall 2023.
Police said officers responded to a break-in at an uptown restaurant on Prince William Street around 11:40 a.m. on Oct. 23, 2023.An unknown man had broken into the building, rummaged through multiple areas and took items from the business.The 33-year-old accused was taken into custody without incident and was released on an undertaking to appear in court on Aug. 22.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
