ARCH Hospice is seeking a Permanent Part Time Registered Practical Nurse.As a member of an inter-professional team, the Registered Practical Nurse provides leadership and total care according to established policies and procedures. In addition to clinical care, it includes assessing and anticipating the total physical, emotional, spiritual and psychosocial needs of the residents.
Registered Practical Nurses provide leadership in hospice palliative care and are a positive role model for staff, volunteers, guests, family members, health care professionals and the community.The successful candidate requires strong interpersonal skills, good communication and leadership skills and the ability to work well with all kinds of people.2. 9. Comfort discussing death and dying and ability to work with resident/family living with and dying from advanced illness.11. Strong client focus. 12. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and taking constructive action to improve quality and safety. 13. Commitment to life-long learning by participating in ongoing education, self-reflective practice and maintaining a strong commitment to professional practice and personal growth.16. Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.18. Highly developed problem solving and conflict management skills.20. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.23. Computer literate and able to work with Microsoft Suite.
