Chris Carr has become a household name in our community, spending his free time volunteering with countless sports teams and local charities in Sault Ste. Marie.

His community involvement varies from volunteering with the Soo Thunderbirds, Algoma University Athletics and the Soo Greyhounds, to helping with the St. Mary’s College football teams. Recently, Chris’ mother passed away and he was hoping to spend the holidays with his family in Calgary. To thank him for his years of supporting Sault Ste. Marie, our friends at Algoma Steel provided gifts that will help him make that dream possible and enjoy an unforgettable Christmas with his loved ones.A sincere thank you to Algoma Steel for making this Random Act of Kindness possible.
