STELLARTON, N.S. — Bonnie Thomas is preparing to mark 30 years since her son, Kevin Martin, went missing on May 19 and was later found murdered.
Six years later, his body was found in a shallow grave by commercial loggers in Upper Stewiacke. Police at the time ruled his death a homicide, but 30 years later, there still haven’t been any arrests. Thomas and her family will be there from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. that day, collecting food donations, cash, and gift cards for the Salvation Army Food Bank.Kevin Martin, left, with his older brother Olin.
