Big Brother 25's Red Utley wants to apologize.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Evicted Big Brother 25 houseguest Red Utley was sent home after he believed Head of Household Jared Fields' lie that Cameron Hardin had betrayed him, and he now admits that he owes Cameron "a big sorry." Cameron and Red had a Final 2 alliance called The Chillers. When Jared became HOH, he told Red that Cameron had betrayed him in order to save himself.
In an interview with EW, Red confessed that maybe he should’ve talked to Cameron, “but at the end of the day you can't compromise your morals and your integrity. So I don't think I'd change anything, but I'll be giving him a big sorry at some point." Red explained that he’d heard from other people "who were obviously working with Jared" that Cameron had betrayed him.
Red played Big Brother 25 with integrity and understandably was very hurt when he heard from Jared that Cameron had betrayed him. Ironically, Red's willingness to get past their falling-out was one of the things that led to his eviction. When Red told Jared that he might be open to working with Cameron again in the future, it raised a red flag among the other houseguests because they didn't want Cameron and Red to come back together as an alliance against them.
Red's ability to admit that he owes Cameron an apology proves even further what a good person he is. He was a joy to watch on the show with his big personality and fierce competitiveness. His performance in the very first Scary-Verse nomination competition, the Pressure Cooker competition, and his week 4 Power of Veto win all prove that Red had the potential to go far in the game.
