The local forward becomes the 23rd player to wear the “C” since the team joined the BCHL in 1996
Makow, a local forward, becomes the 23rd player to wear the captain's “C” since the team joined the BCHL in 1996.
Head coach Alex Evin expressed his pride in the decision: “We are proud to officially add the captaincy to Linden Makow's jersey. We look forward to his continued leadership on the ice, in the locker room, and in our community.” “Linden has been with our program for five seasons. He’s a tremendous young man who understands the team expectations. I know he will embrace the opportunity to be our captain," said general manager Mike Hawes.
