Suspect was transported to Prince George RCMP detachment cells
Prince George RCMP are reporting they have arrested a man for uttering threats and for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
On Tuesday Sept. 5, just before 9 a.m., police responded to a complaint of a man threatening people with a knife in the area of First Avenue and George Street.He was then arrested for uttering threats and for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and was subsequently transported to Prince George RCMP detachment cells.
“The suspect is known to our Downtown Safety Unit for similar offences. He was released on an undertaking with conditions and will attend court at a future date,” stated Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
