Special Olympics Prince George supports about 80 athletes in the community
Special Olympics BC Prince George athletes, coaches and volunteers welcomed the community to the annual inclusion fair this weekend.
“This is what we call an inclusion fair to get more athletes hopefully to sign up for Special Olympics,” said Adrian Rosen, who is a Special Olympics athlete in snowshoeing, floor hockey, club fit, track and field, soccer, and golf. Special Olympics BC is dedicated to providing individuals with intellectual disabilities opportunities to enrich their lives and celebrate personal achievement through positive sport experiences.Sports programs run throughout the year with daily training and local competition, and the opportunity to participate in high-performance competition.
