Premier Doug Ford released a statement marking the start of 2025, expressing his wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous year for all Ontarians. He highlighted the resilience of families, workers, and businesses in the face of global and economic challenges, and outlined the government's continued focus on rebuilding the economy, investing in infrastructure, and creating job opportunities.
As we ring in 2025, I want to extend my best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous new year to everyone across the province. "This past year, despite ongoing global and economic uncertainty, I’ve been so proud to see the families, workers and businesses who make up Team Ontario come together to continue rebuilding our economy and strengthening our communities.
"In 2025, our government will continue delivering on our plan to build Ontario, investing in roads, highways, transit and infrastructure to get drivers moving and build the infrastructure our growing province needs. We will also remain focused on keeping costs down for families, investing in training workers and attracting investment so we can help people find better jobs and bigger paycheques in communities across the province.
"On behalf of the Government of Ontario, I want to wish everyone across Ontario a very happy new year!”
