Rui Armando Figueiredo was sentenced to three months in prison for violating a permanent ban on capital market activities.
A 58-year-old Port Moody man, already convicted of fraud, has been sentenced to three months in prison for violating a permanent ban on capital market activities imposed by the B.C. Securities Commission.
Related In 2016, the BCSC found that Figueiredo operated a fraudulent investment scheme through his company Pare Realty. The BCSC permanently banned Figueiredo from purchasing and trading securities along with acting as a financial agent/director.
