The latest investigation was into comments Robinson made during an interview with “The Truth Trumpet,” a YouTube channel, which was also published on another website.The integrity commissioner’s report determined Robinson breached the city’s code of conduct and made a baseless and false accusation that was harmful to staff.In his report, he also said she did not issue a true apology, recognize that her statements were untrue or withdraw her comments.
Robinson raised a number of questions at the meeting and claimed her quote was taken out of context. She also questioned why her comments are not protected under people’s freedom of expression and alleged the city’s code of conduct violates her charter rights.statements that are critical or negative.of the term “corrupt” was beyond simply negative or critical language.It’s not the first time Robinson has been docked pay. There were also three other incidents between 2023 and 2024.
