Officers wrapped “Project Skyfall” and say three firearms were recovered and more than $14-million in illegal drugs seized.
In December 2023, York Regional Police were called to a home in Vaughan for a home invasion. There, one suspect was taken in to custody. The investigation lead to the uncovering of a larger criminal network that was planning armed robberies and drugs trafficking.Six were out on bail, four were banned from owning or using weapons and one suspect was accessing the databanks of the Ministry of Transportation to assist the crooks.
Among the suspects is Leslie Allen, 49, of Pickering who is charged with Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence, Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with an Offensive Weapon. To see the full list of charges, They executed 48 search warrants, recovered two handguns, a shotgun and drugs, including coke, ketamine and oxycodone, with an estimated value of over $14.4-million.“Our government is proud to support our police officers in getting guns and drugs off our streets,” said Michael Kerzner, Ontario’s Solicitor General. “We continue to fund projects like this to keep our communities safe.
