The P.E.I. Progressive Conservatives have released more details about the party's health-care platform that pledges to improve primary care access across the Island.

Progressive Conservatives have released more details about the party's health-care platform that pledges to improve primary care access across the Island.

The party also said newly created patient medical homes will be"incentivized" to take unaffiliated patients off the province's patient registry, with the PCs promising to attach all patients on the patient registry to a medical home within the next 24 months. The P.E.I. Tories also pledged to make virtual care apps, like Maple, free to all Island residents, as well as create new telehealth access sites at Access P.E.I. locations and libraries.
