But Myers said the province is hoping is existing performance on climate programs will convince the federal government to keep the price of gasoline from rising. "The consumption hasn't decreased. It's actually increased. And it's because we don't have any alternatives. So, we're trying to introduce alternatives."
Myers said the province’s climate programs have achieved success and pointed to the five-per-cent-reduction in P.E.I.’s climate emissions in 2020.
