One person was found dead after fire crews responded to a home on Park Street in Sydney on Saturday. - FileSYDNEY — One person is dead following a house fire in a residential Sydney neighbourhood over the weekend. Multiple media reports say fire crews were called out mid-afternoon Saturday to respond to a garbage fire occurring at 222 Park St., according to the Cape Breton Regional Fire Service’s deputy chief.Deputy Fire Chief Chris March said a search was conducted after neighbours notified crew there may have been someone inside. After the search, fire personnel found one person dead.
