TORONTO - Police say one person is dead and another was rushed to hospital in critical condition after a shooting in Toronto’s west end.
Toronto police say officers responded around 8:20 p.m. after reports of a shooting and people fighting in the area of Mimico Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard.Police say one man died at the scene despite life-saving efforts from officers and the other victim was rushed to hospital in critical condition.
They say as of Thursday night no one has been arrested and there is a heavy police presence in the area.
