Kastor is fearless not just when it comes to her choice of pet, but in the circle and at the plate, too. Her love for the sport developed even earlier than that. Her dad desperately wanted a son who played baseball, so Kastor’s older brother picked it up — and didn’t like it. He had an allergic reaction to grass and everything. But in the background was a 5-year-old Kastor.
