OAKLAND – A shooting Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 980 in Oakland sent a person to the hospital, the California Highway Patrol said.
The Oakland CHP area office received word at 3:15 p.m. that a person had arrived at Highland Hospital with a gunshot wound. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.The CHP said the circumstances that led to the shooting remained under investigation Tuesday night.
