Gaetan Bradette told the Parole Board of Canada he regrets that two of his sons followed in his footsteps.
A man who was once considered one of Montreal’s more notorious drug traffickers is awaiting a decision from the Parole Board of Canada after expressing deep regrets over the lifestyle he chose to live for three decades.

At the end of the lengthy hearing, Evans Bedard, another member of the parole board, said he and Brouillette will deliberate before making a decision. The board can take 15 days to make a decision but Bedard told Bradette to expect one this week. “My notoriety had two sides. I had a good notoriety when it came to cars. In the drug milieu, it was a notoriety that I didn’t want to carry. I want nothing to do with that world. I don’t want to be important to those people,” Bradette said.His parole officer told the board that while Bradette was very arrogant toward her at the start of his sentence, he changed his attitude this year.“In my life I had always been the manager. I was always the boss. I always thought I was the best.
