Anita Nguyen was the victim of a targeted shooting on Lonsdale Avenue

Ngoc Mai Nguyen, the victim of a targeted shooting in North Vancouver last week, has died of her injuries.

The 32-year-old woman was found suffering gunshot wounds in an alley behind the Capilano Masonic Lodge in the 1100-block of Lonsdale Avenue shortly before 11 a.m. on April 2. Nguyen, a single mother to a three-year-old daughter, was taken to hospital where she was placed on life support with “non-survivable injuries,” according to Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.No arrest has been made.

Investigators believe Nguyen’s shooting was a targeted incident and are still working to determine a motive.
