Individuals and businesses are encouraged to nominate those who made exceptional contributions to environmental protection in Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District during 2024.
Calling all environmental champions in Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District ! If you know someone who went above and beyond to protect our local environment in 2024, nominate them for a Clean North Award . This recognition honors individuals and businesses making a significant impact on keeping our community clean and green. Nominations are open to the public, and self-nominations are also welcome. The deadline to submit your nomination is noon on March 21.
Nomination forms are available at cleannorth.org/clean-north-awards. To be considered, nominees should exemplify exceptional service towards environmental protection within our region during 2024. Previous award recipients are not eligible for this year's recognition. Clean North, a volunteer-driven organization fueled by memberships and donations, aims to promote waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable living practices for a healthier Sault and Algoma District.
