Horizon Health Network in New Brunswick says there has been significant progress made to improve health-care services through strategic initiatives developed in the past year.
According to the report, Horizon has begun 54 new projects since December in all regional hospitals, 15 community sites and 22 separate departments and programs. The waiting list was also shortened for hip and knee surgeries, with an increase of more than 700 surgeries — totalling 2,917 — completed from the previous year.
