“American Soul” and “Black-ish” actor-singer Katlyn Nichol has signed to Cmnty Culture Rcrds and Republic Records, dropping her first single “Liar”

Blige to her Matriarch imprint through Def Jam and appeared onstage with the legendary singer. She appeared on BET’S “American Soul” as the character Simone Clark, and followed in 2020 on “Black-ish” as Olivia Lockhart and will be returning for the upcoming final season.and unveiled the partnership with the single “Tears Hit the Ground.
WCPM’s Sandtrack Sound is situated on Nashville’s Music Row in the more than 8,200+ square foot building originally known as Emerald Sound Studio and later, Benchmark Sound. Built in 1981 by pioneering acoustic designer Tom Hidley, it has been home to the creation of albums by Johnny Cash, George Strait, Alabama, Brooks & Dunn, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Olivia Newton-John, and more.
