Kirkland Lake OPP have identified a woman and man discovered in a Kirkpatrick Street home Aug. 8 as Lea Thompson, 33, and Kyle Robertson, 37
The bodies of 33-year-old Lea Thompson and 37-year-old Kyle Robertson, both of Kirkland Lake, were discovered during a wellness check around 8 p.m.“This is my baby girl who was murdered,” wrote Thompson’s mother Tammy Thompson on a Facebook page called Justice for Lea.
“And I am just telling the people of Kirkland Lake I want justice for her and I can’t even see her. So if anyone in Kirkland Lake knows anything or has seen her at all last Sunday please I am begging them the go to the police and tell them what you know about her,” Tammy wrote. “I have never done any harm to anyone in . I try to help who every I could when I could. So now I’m asking for help to get her in justice.”This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.“I have known Lea since she was a little girl,” wrote Davies. “She was a sweet girl. I babysat her and she hung out out my place with my kids. Tammy and Jim are great parents and do not deserve the heart break they are going through. If you know something anything please let someone know.
The OPP is seeking video surveillance or dash-cam footage that may show any part of Kirkpatrick Street or the surrounding neighbourhood between Aug. 5-8.Those who wish to remain anonymous may contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
