Emergency crews responded about 7 p.m. to a report that someone had walked into the downtown centre with an apparent stab would.Bystanders administered emergency first-aid before paramedics arrived to take over. The victim, identified as Serguei Chiliakhov, was pronounced dead after being transported to hospital.Patterson is in custody and set for a Feb. 16 court appearance.“Given that this matter is now before the courts, police will not be providing any additional information with regards to the investigation,” said Const. Tanaska Armstrong.
