My son is 'scared to sleep' after B&M lava lamp exploded in his room 'like a gunshot'
Deborah found her son “terrified” and crying, surrounded by “red-hot wax” from the £14.99 lamp.
She explained: "He was literally crying in bed. We turned the light on - the lava lamp had exploded everywhere. I checked he was ok and calmed him down, while my partner went to get cleaning items."I'm just grateful he wasn't sat at his desk when it happened, if he was - it would've been a completely different story. He would've been burnt by the wax. The situation could have been so much more dangerous".
