'Smiley, happy' baby fighting rare cancer after being diagnosed at just 11 months
, in March. Neuroblastoma is a rare type of cancer that mostly affects babies and young children, so far early scans after a couple of rounds of chemotherapy have gone well and are working as best the family could have hoped for Oliver.
Keith said: "I just felt I knew what kind of strain they were going through and wanted to help them out in any way I could. I can't help on the medical side of things but I can help on the financial side. By setting up the fundraiser, Oliver's family are hoping to raise a bit more awareness of what Neuroblastoma is and childhood cancers. Neuroblastoma is a rare cancer that affects children, mostly under the age of five years.
Keith continued: "The walk is the main one but we have donations from my suppliers, we've got a raffle going on. We've got collection pots in more than 20 businesses and that's the brilliant thing about this, it's the team aspect of it. All the businesses come together to help the family.
