Mounties say drones used in Drumheller Institution drug-smuggling scheme yyc
Drumheller RCMP say they intercepted an attempt to bring drugs into Drumheller Institution by drone. Their investigation led to the seizure of three drones as well as drugs and cash.During those searches, police seized three drones, four cellphones, a Taser, brass knuckles, suspected meth, cocaine and fentanyl, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash and other drug-trafficking paraphernalia.
Both were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. Morse was also charged with failing to comply with a release order.Article content
