The popular Vancouver pop-rock group Mother Mother will perform Feb. 18 at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria.

Mother Mother’s tour of Canada will get underway next year in Victoria, promoter Live Nation announced Monday.

The popular Vancouver pop-rock group will perform Feb. 18 at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre, its first performance inside the Blanshard Street arena in seven years. The band co-founded by siblings Ryan and Molly Guldemond, who got their start on Quadra Island, gave two sold-out shows at the Royal Theatre in 2022, their most recent performance in the market.

The hitmakers behind Bit By Bit and Hayloft will be joined on the 11-date Canadian run by special guests Cavetown and Cannons. The tour is to support Mother Mother’s ninth album, Grief Chapter, which includes the singles Normalize and To My Heart. Mother Mother earned a Juno Award nomination in 2022 for group of the year, one of five career nominations for the indie pop group.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 3, at 10 a.m. through the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre box office or sofmc.com. They can also be purchased through livenation.com.
