Burns Lake and Fort St. John to get new Foundry Centres to support young people
Youth in northern B.C. will now have easier access to mental-health, addiction services and primary care with the expansion of Foundry centres to more communities throughout the province.
Supports include mental-health and addiction counselling, physical and sexual health care, peer support and social services.An additional eight new Foundry centres are in development in Burns Lake, and Fort St. John, as well as East Kootenay , Port Hardy, Surrey, Tri-Cities, Kamloops and the Sunshine Coast.
