JOHN'S, N.L. — Markus Hicks was charged Friday, Sept. 15, with 13 more incidents of sexual violence against youth.
Hicks, who has waived his right to a bail hearing, is scheduled to make his next appearance on all charges by video in provincial court Oct. 3. Police have made clear that a person cannot consent to sexual activity with someone they’ve been led to believe is someone else.
