Woods has been showing us for a lifetime that he’s the only author of his story and there’s plenty of plot twists. The latest chapter begins Thursday at Augusta National, when he tees off at 10:34 a.m. in his first official tournament in two years, just 13 months after doctors considered amputating his right leg.

They are upset that, for the most part, nobody but them seems to care. Unlike many modern athletes, Woods has never made it about his life.
