ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Police in St. John’s arrested a 28-year-old man on property damage charges on Thursday, May 9.

Around 8:30 p.m. on April 29, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers responded to a downtown property damage report and determined a man had spray-painted the window of a Water Street property and left the area.An arrest warrant was issued for 28-year-old Manuel Valera Soto on charges of property damage, failure to comply with an undertaking and three counts of failure to comply with a release order.He was held in custody to appear in provincial court.
