Saanich Police say two people were arrested more than a week after they fled from police in a dangerous manner while driving a stolen car.

The pair were first spotted on Jan. 28 at the intersection of Burnside Road West and Harriet Street, near the border of Victoria, in a vehicle that was reported stolen.

The officer did not pursue the vehicle, but was able to identify the people inside, according to Saanich Police.
