Man, 78, dies following two-vehicle crash near Margaree Forks, N.S.

Emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle collision on Highway 19, involving a GMC SUV and Toyota Prius, shortly before 5 p.m., RCMP said.Police said investigations show the vehicles were travelling in opposite directions before colliding, sending them both into a ditch with the SUV flipping over.The driver and passenger, both women from Halifax, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the SUV, a 41-year-old woman from Cheticamp, was taken to hospital by EHS with apparent non-life-threatening injuries.
