Owen Ross had team-high 18 points, while David Kelly found the net for 10 points, and Tyler Doughty and Liam Welke both notched six points apiece for the Lions. Like Kearney for the Bears, Anthony Lecky continued to carry the hot hand, dropping 26 points. Eli Tunnicliff and Rory MacCormick both had eight points apiece for the Ravens.
BEC and Riverview are also currently tied for first place in the Cape Breton High School Basketball League with matching 8-1 records in the regular season.
