Australia Carolyn Anderson found her hair too long for her Canadian wedding
Carolyn Anderson was in Canada for her wedding and wanted to freshen up her hair style before going home to Australia.
Carolyn has fine and naturally wavy hair. The 34-year-old had been growing it out for the wedding and was finding the length too long and the hair style shapeless. I shampooed her hair using KMS Tame Frizz — Shampoo and Conditioner, for frizz reduction and manageability. I sectioned her hair into a central vertical parting and eliminated three inches from her length, creating a face framing layer shape. I incorporated long layers through the back for added shape and fullness, and a side sweeping fringe.
Before styling, I applied one pump of KMS ThermaShape — Straightening Crème, to take hair from curly to smooth, and added an egg size amount of KMS Add Volume — Styling Foam for long lasting body and style support. I blow dried her hair with a medium round brush then used a curling iron to create soft curls. We wanted to create an illuminated glow to her complexion and to do so, we used a medium coverage foundation mixed with a little pump of illuminating cream.
